Positive Reflection

The Amal journey started 2 months and 2 weeks ago. We enjoyed this journey a lot and learnt lots of soft and hard skills including Leadership, Teamwork, Problem solving, Excel, PowerPoint etc.

Although the whole Amal journey was amazing, more specifically, the activities we had performed during the in person sessions was my most favorite i.e, Leadership without authority activity, Intro activity, Resume and cover letter review activities, strengths and weaknesses finding, gratitudes findings and many more. Besides these, the fundraising activity for the Edhi Foundation was very helpful for me to participate in public speaking activities. I led my group and collected a reasonable amount for the Edhi Foundation.

Before the Amal academy I was unaware about the term procrastination. I was already in that condition but after the amal guidance I started working on it. I started submitting the projects before time and completing the tasks within the due date.

The online courses and PWs assigned were very interesting. Particularly, the passenger series and resume building was very helpful for me. Before that I even could not differentiate between a resume and CV.

At the end, I would like to express my gratitude to Amal Facilitators, Amal Fellows and more importantly Amal academy. Without them it was not possible for us to groom ourselves and compete with the rest of the world. This experience will never be forgotten and will be remembered for the rest of my life.
