Writing and poetry in Kyrgyzstan

This blog is about Letters, Writing, and Poetry in English in Kyrgyzstan of all places as it happens to be the land of magical aiyan (creative channelling) connecting with rythmic human speech and meditative musical expression capable of cleaning and rejuvenating life force.

I will be happy to cover the challenges, the inspirations, the flights of fancy and the utter crazy leap into the unknown of a glorious unpaid writing and publishing work online.

Something in me hope it will be like painting flowers incredulously and passionately trying to capture the stages of their budding, blooming, opening up, becoming burnt by the climatic and climactic fires, coming of age and decaying while always coming to terms with the fragility and eternal glory of the petals’ letting go and hoping for the next bloom and fruiting season.

Let’s find a way to re-connect to our child inside — what was that child reading and enjoying, what was her dream nurtured by the books, what was her trail that she wanted to follow and to leave behing with her own footsteps as the markers on the snow that the dogs and wolves leave as little post notes to their friends and relatives while getting lost in the park or even hopefully a lush forest. Those dog and wolf friends are plenty, they like, super, wow, stalk us on social media, they are our loyal audience silently checking on our posts and choosing not to like, nor comment, they are the

Remember that the child inside is still the same, waiting for us to peer back in and ask her, “how are you, have we not had a chat for a long while, forgive me for being out of touch with you my dear”.
